I use PC at work and MAC at home and I find Mac is easier to use since I do a lot of photo editing.  It’s all personal taste and what they do.

You claim the Mac crashes but you conveniently decline to state is it  OSX or a 3rd party software?  You are no different than the other morons that scream “Macs are no damn good” without a scrap of reason or evidence.

Admittedly, I have been working on computers since 1992, My First Machine was an Apple II. Then I got a Packard Bell (Shitty, admittedly). But you have not given any valid argument that can contest that Mac is better.

I have to review hardware and software at my place of business. I run test servers, and workstations running OSX, WIN7, and Fedora 15. I have to run tests on ALL of them.

At home I do the same because I want my home to be as functional as work.

For MY needs, I use both Fedora and WIN7, mainly for compatibility with MOST software that I need, I use my Mac for graphic design. You know what that “SHITTY” $1,500 computer that you bashed has never done? Crashed. Ironically the Mac, can’t seem to compile my 3d animation videos without crashing.

My PC is setup for general use, gaming, and backup of features for the other machines (redundancy in my network).

Here’s the funniest part $4,000 Price I slated was for the Mac, bought in January This Year.
Actually Both Machines were bought at the exact same time.

The Fedora machines are running on my outmoded Mac & PC.

Please tell me where the value in the mac, that has a hard time to compile, Vs the PC that I can compile the very same videos with NO errors?

Your statement that Macs have no place outside graphic design demonstrates that you really have no idea how computers really work.   It only reveals your own prejudice in favor of Windows.

When did I ever say that Macs do not get viruses?  In fact, I have said exactly the opposite.  Anyone that operates any computer without protection against malware is asking for trouble.  Personally, I like the Sophos Anti-Virus package. 

The Mac is more stable because the dictate what hardware is used is partially true.  By insisting upon higher-quality components, reliability is increased.  It is also the superior software, too.  Most crashes and failures are software related, not hardware.  I would think that an IT professional would know that.  But apparently some are more professional than others.
